The May City Bowl Fashion Market is on this Saturday from 9am till 2pm. The market is indoors so it happens no matter what the weather. Come and say hi, have breakfast or lunch and hang out upstairs at the Fashion Market.

Laura Windvogel is the very talented person behind the clothing label Dear Dorothy. Laura is my neighbor at the City Bowl Fashion Market and I always enjoy chatting to her. This weeks markets
Update! The You & Me & Everyone we know Night Market (which was scheduled for Friday the 28th) has been postponed till next Friday!
On Saturday I will have a stall at the 4th City Bowl Fashion Market.
I am looking forward to seeing all the other stall holders and market
regulars. I will have all the usual accessories with me plus some
notebooks, magnets and embroidery hoops.

Pictures from the 3rd City Bowl Fashion Market
Sorry these pics are a bit late but I have been recovering from a weekend of markets. The 3rd City Bowl Fashion Market was my best market ever, even though half of Cape Town as at Earth Dance and their was apparently some big World Cup rugby match on. Its great to see some of the market regulars who have been to all the City Bowl Fashion Markets so far. You guys rock! Its always nice to see people wearing things they got from previous markets. I love how some people hang out at the market for hours!
The market is becoming the highlight of my month as I get to see all my fellow market traders. When you work alone they become your 'work' friends. We all swop market tips, chat about upcoming markets, shops to avoid and other random market gossip.

Bow Peep bling?
Iv been playing around with making some necklaces for a while and I finally made some last week. I don't know why I didn't make them earlier, when I was younger I used to make loads of necklaces and bracelets, I always had little business schemes at school. I never made any money because I gave most of the things away but I just enjoyed making them. I still have all my beads from primary school! If you want some beads let me know, I think I have a lifetime supply.
So these are some of the necklaces I made last week. They will be for sale at the City Bowl Market on Saturday. The chains are quite long but I will have my pliers with me if you would like them shorter.
PS: the yellow hart is a once off necklace so if it goes it goes...I might even keep it for myself but if you would like it let me know and I can keep it aside for you.

The 2nd CIty Bowl Fashion Market
Yesterday Bow Peep had a stall at the 2nd City Bowl Fashion Market. Its great to see that word has spread about the market as it was packed. The vibe was really cool and it looked like my fellow business owners did very well. Thanks very much to those who came, the support is always appreciated. Cannot wait till the next Fashion Market on the 24 September!

Happy Friday everyone! Im sorry for being so quite this week, preparing for a market takes so much time. I have a little announcement about tomorrow's markets. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bow Peep wont be able to attend the CapeBiz Indaba tomorrow:-(
